Ty-Tandderwen

This project received the Building Excellence Award for 2017. It encompassed a significant renovation, expansion, and interior redesign of a 19th-century cottage. The compact cottage was extended by two stories on the side and at the rear, tripling the original footprint. In each section, the design prioritized natural light and views of the garden. In line with the historical character of the buildings, meticulous efforts were undertaken to preserve the authentic appearance of the structure and its surroundings. The introduction of new elements was thoughtfully balanced between the need for complementary materials and the client's preference for environmentally-friendly products
