Initiating with a Dialogie

The cornerstone of our process lies in our initial conversation, offered free of charge. This interaction serves as a pivotal point where we get to understand your property—what aspects you cherish, what alterations you seek, and most importantly, how you inhabit the space. This insight enables us to formulate the most fitting design approach.

This primary discussion also serves as an avenue to delve into budget considerations, project timelines, and conceptual explorations. Additionally, we can delve deeper into our workflow and explore the range of our pricing structure

Work Stage 1: Brief

Upon confirming our services, the next step involves a visit to your property—an invaluable opportunity for us to gain a comprehensive understanding of it. We delve into its history, local context, and conduct an analysis encompassing site characteristics, structure, natural light, and scenic views. This pivotal stage allows us to thoroughly assess both the positive and negative aspects of your property, comprehensively understanding its nuances. During this phase, we also conduct a survey to measure the house accurately.

In essence, the 'brief' stage is dedicated to gathering essential information crucial for developing the concept in the subsequent phase

Work Stage 2: Conceptual Design

Utilizing the gathered information, we craft conceptual designs tailored to your property. Typically, we present two or three ideas, aiding in the establishment of the final design.

This phase focuses on alignment, ensuring a shared understanding between you and us. By offering multiple concept options, our aim is to provide clarity regarding the design rationale, empowering you to make an informed decision before proceeding further

Work Stage 3: Final Design

Advancing from the conceptual phase, we refine and solidify the selected design. This stage signifies the transition from concept to a detailed final design. Our thorough approach ensures alignment with your vision and requirements, culminating in a blueprint ready for implementation.

Furthermore, in this stage, we provide a 3D model. This immersive visualization offers a comprehensive sense of your completed property, granting you a tangible preview of its look and feel

Work Stage 4: Planning Submission

Following the final design, we proceed to evaluate initial costings, collaborating closely with a Quantity Surveyor to solidify your selections. This phase involves the engagement of an engineer to propose structural solutions.

Here, we curate a comprehensive formal drawing package accompanied by detailed annotations. These documents serve multiple purposes, from aiding builders in their understanding of the project to being used for planning permission applications, if required.
